Forum moves to Zhoushan City

ZHOUSHAN, April 15   Participants attending the First World Buddhist Forum moved to Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, Saturday, to go on the historic gathering for the Buddhist Religion.

The forum, which began in Hangzhou, the provincial capital of Zhejiang, Thursday, is scheduled to last through Sunday. A Buddhist concert will be held in Shanghai on Monday.

Zhoushan stands in the Zhoushan Archipelago and it is home for the Putuo Temple, one of the most sacred sites for Chinese Buddhists.
